The way it works will be very simple. You advertise on the site, we deal with all the emails (is there a laundry in Calis, can you buy nappies, etc.) and hopefully take the bookings. Owners can of course carry on taking their own bookings - we run a big spreadsheet and rely on you letting us know which dates are blocked off as soon as you know yourselves.

If they are free and we take a booking we'll secure a 10% deposit and confirm the details to the property owner, so they can inform their property management/keyholder. In 2004 the website was No.1 in searches for Calis Beach (beating even Calis-Beach.Co.Uk) and even though it is currently fairly dormant is linked from some fairly impressive websites.

Our best return in 2004 for a single property was 5,400 GBP.

Ok so we haven't answered the one question that most people have asked. There will be no advertising fee for listing your property/properties. As mentioned, if we are successful in securing bookings for you we obtain a 10% deposit - that's ours, the 90% balance is yours. We think this is the best way to do things. As "ex-rentees" ourselves, we know that 'up-front' fees are totally hit or miss - pay 120 pounds for an advert at a villa rental site and if you get a booking it pays for itself - don't get any and it was an expensive mistake. This way, if we promise the world and deliver nothing it hasn't cost you a penny.
